Every good and perfect gift is from above,
coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights,
who does not Change like shifting shadows. James 1:17

Will either of them overcome the hurdles life has tossed in their paths? Or will the source of Máire’s distrust follow her and cause more pain for her… and those she loves?

About the Author:

Sharon K Connell was born in Wisconsin, grew up in Illinois, schooled in Illinois through College and Florida through Bible School, retired in Texas and enjoying every minute of it.

My time is spent doing a lot of things I’ve always wanted to have the time to do, including at least one or two hours daily writing stories about people who discover (as I have) that God will only allow those things into your life that will help you grow and/or increase your faith.

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer. Psalm 19:14

At the age of twelve years old, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior and have never been disappointed that I did. He has been with me throughout all trials and tribulations, most of which I brought on myself, and never once have I felt that He deserted me or doesn’t love me.

Humans, for the most part, have a way of convincing themselves that what they want is what God wants. Sometimes that’s true…but most often we have our own desires in mind and not our Lord’s.

Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. James 4:3

And yet sometimes God lets us have our own way even when it’s not His Will. That’s what gets us into trouble. I speak from experience. Yet, the Lord has blessed me beyond measure and always forgives me when I come to Him, just as a child when going against his earthly parent’s will and then feeling sorry that he did. I’ve learned that He will never forsake me.

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. Hebrews 13:5

In my writings, I’ve tried to bring out these truths. I hope that you will enjoy all that I’ve written, and it will be a blessing to you.
