A part of me feels like this photo belongs on a litigation website where I’m offering legal justice to the hurting, the poor, the less fortunate. While scoping out my favorite author websites and their professional photos (so that I could better prepare for my own photo shoot), I looked at the various angles and poses each author did. I am not photogenic, and my best images are with both eyes open. I saw one of the authors do this pose, and they made it look good!
Anyway, I was told this was a cheesy photo by a couple of folks. My brother-in-law, the fantastic photographer, said nothing about any of the photos, but I could tell he wanted to laugh every time I did this fist-to-chin pose. As a goofy person in general, I didn’t care what the other naysayers said and decided to keep this photo anyway. This is my promise to you that my stories will be about characters who haven’t always had it easy, and they will be in a fight for justice. As danger closes in for my protagonist, they will have to draw near to God and put their trust in Him.
