Texas Ranch Cold Case by Virginia Vaughn is the fourth book in her Cowboy Protector series. Each storyline stands alone, with four cousins and their ranch connecting the stories. I enjoy getting to know Tucker and Ally. In this book, the main characters investigate a cold case from twenty years ago where Ally, the main character’s mom, has tragically died. In addition, Ally was there, but she has lost her memory.
I love delving into a mystery that has yet to be solved. In addition, the author seems to have a theme of trauma in her stories and she did a good job staying true to her main characters when suffering from a traumatic event.
