This is my second novel by Colleen Coble, but I want to mention the cover first! It is simply beautiful. The colors are rich. I have the paperback version, and it’s nice and velvety to touch. The storyline went very well with the cover; it was an all-around very well-put-together book.
Although I found out who was the “real” bad guy fairly quickly into the story, I appreciate how well the puzzle pieces of this story were put together. Alright, I’ll be honest. The novel had other red herrings, but I did my best to weed out the truth, and my instincts paid off. Colleen writes a mean antagonist, and I loved the Christian message laced throughout.
