If All Else Fails by Emma St. Clair was a total crack-up. Wyatt had Josie in one predicament after another—right from the start, even though they hadn’t seen each other in years. Honestly, I thought she’d hate him forever after he had her arrested… well, detained.
Wyatt’s constant missteps (whether from his epic miscommunication skills or Josie totally misreading the “Grocery Girl” situation) made this such a fun enemies-to-lovers romance!
Here’s one of my favorite quotes. They aren’t exactly irritating each other in this scene, but let’s just say the piggies did their job:
“Stop threatening and start swinging,” he advises. “And if you don’t want to be stampeded, maybe don’t talk about your love of bacon.”
“Who knew you had any sense of humor buried under your grumpy exterior?”
I laughed out loud at that one! A must read for romcom lovers!
