This quote from Final Approach is a perfect example of how Lynette Eason always begins her story with a scene that could come from a movie.
The intense interrogation of the would be hijacker, Marcus barely scratched the surface of the mystery Andrew and Kristine needed to unravel. The mastermind had used Marcus as a pawn, and this father’s actions, out of desperation, had a very strong impact on his family. I felt so bad for all of his children and the pain his actions caused his wife. As usual, Eason molds different types of family dynamics in a way that leaves me glued to the pages. Everyone had their reasons to wreck havoc on those around them, and that made this story even more interesting to read. A must read.
I was given a complimentary copy of this book from Netgalley and the publisher. All words are my own.
